Steven has been involved in healthcare for 28 years as a paramedic, then as a registered nurse. He has held positions such as Director of Emergency Services and BioTerrorism coordinator. As an officer in the US Army Reserves, Steven is commissioned as a nurse but has held positions in Operations as well as being a Company Commander in a field hospital. Steven is a Certified Protection Specialist credential through Executive Security International. He has held positions of security and risk manager and was certified in Healthcare Security through IAHSS. He has instructed for the SC DHEC in Hospital Emergency Response Training and First Receiver’s Training as well as TACT – Therapeutic Alternative Crisis Training.
