• B. Eng. degree (Civil), Accredited by World Education Services, Canada
• Over 15 years of experience managing several ***** power projects in Canada and abroad
• Project development/project management experience ranging from concept to commissioning including site selection, land optioning, ***** monitoring, ***** resource assessment, FIT applications, planning and permitting including Renewable Energy Approval (REA), stakeholder engagement, selection of ***** turbines, ***** farm design, preliminary and detailed engineering, interconnection, project development and capital cost estimates, budgeting, project proposals and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)
• Sound knowledge of local policies and experience managing permitting and regulatory approval process at federal, provincial and municipal level
• Strong understanding and experience of the technical issues of ***** turbines including interconnection, siting, acoustic, set backs, ***** flow and visual impact
• Successfully managed internal and external project teams, assisted contract negotiations with ***** turbine suppliers and BOP contractors
• Excellent project management, planning and organizational, communication, time management, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision and in a team environment
• Detail oriented and can quickly come up to speed on variety of subjects relating to ***** energy, including ***** studies, environmental and cultural studies, transmission issues, public relations, public policy, sales, and civil and electrical engineering
• Strong interest in environmental issues and renewable energy
