His security team from Hanover Insurance also won the 2007 SC Magazine Award – Best Security Team competing against such organizations as Barclays Global and the Department of State.

Jeff sits on the Board of Directors, Boston Infragard; was a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance; is a member of the Cyber Security Forum Initiative, the RSA Conference Submission Selection Committee and formerly on the Customer Advisory Board for Chosen Security. Jeff published The Illusion of Due Diligence in 2010 and was a co-author for the Computer and Information Security Handbook, Understanding Computers, and has published articles for magazines such as The Intelligencer, CSO, and SC Magazine.

Mr. ***** is an adjunct professor at Utica College in Cyber Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Cybercrime, Cyber Terrorism and National Security and Critical Infrastructures and an adjunct professor at Clark University in Information Security for Masters programs. He holds a CISSP, CISM, NSA-IAM and has a bachelors degree in Middle East Studies and Arabic Language and a masters in Information Assurance. He currently holds a TS SSBI clearance and is active in Cyber Jihadist research and analysis. Jeff is also a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance and author of the section on governance, risk and compliance.

Cyber Intelligence - Cyber Jihad and Open Source Intelligence Research

Currently performing a full SWOT analysis and guided risk assessment of the NASA information security program working directly for the NASA CISO. This includes technology assessments of the security stacks across dispersed Centers and Missions, skills, program capabilities, and budgeting. The intent is to determine potential for evolutionary centralization, de-centralization, or a hybrid approach to the overall strategy and program for NASA. Other tasks include OIG audit analysis, metrics creation and corrective action plan management; Getting to FISMA Green program planning and authoring, OIG management responses; the authoring/delivery of several security awareness and training classes; liaison with the IT Security Advisory Board; and trusted advisor to the CISO and CISO direct reports on any/all matters of impact.

Worked in multiple verticals as a CIO, CSO, CISO and at the director level. Currently hold an interim secret clearance. As an advocation, ***** 71 performs cyber intelligence work in the Middle Eastern field.
