Manager, Supply Chain Modeling, May ’07 to Present
Responsible for increasing the efficiency of existing supply chain network and also ensure these efficiencies are scalable for future growth. Responsible for managing 3 direct reports and delivering Strategist models, educating cross-functional teams formulate the right problem, cost engineering, presenting the model results, help & influence the organization in developing a network strategy based on the model results. Delivered an annual productivity of $5MM.
• Established a paradigm to build a complex DSD business model in the Strategist tool. Lead a cross functional team of functional SME’s & IT experts to create systems, processes and costing methodologies to build baseline supply chain model.
• Conceived & proposed a plan to leverage JDA’s Strategist tool for tactical capacity planning during peak season.

Project Manager – JDA TMS, Nov ’05 to May ‘07
Managed the implementation of JDA’s transportation optimization solution. Gathered requirements, managed resources, ensured the solution quality met the business requirements.
• Implemented 2 year long project to Centralize the daily Load planning process with JDA’s TM/TO. Gathered & analyzed requirements, scoped the project deliverables, leveraged PBSG to build the required IT infrastructure, implemented a Quick Start to pull forward the productivity gains, delivered new functionality in TM/TO to take the load build efficiency to the next level.
• Lead a team of 8 technical resources to build the model in TM/TO. Responsible for leveraging functionality in TM/TO to suit the business process, rolling out the solution to sites, improvising the constraints in the model for better solution quality, user acceptance testing, change request management, transition the process to baseline team and ensured its sustainability.
• Managed a productivity project to push the limits of optimization engine to deliver an additional savings of $1MM by improving efficiency of load build.
• Managed a team of 2 technical modelers & 6 consultants. Implemented “follow the sun” work schedule with offshore and onsite consultants.
Supply Chain Analyst, Jun ’02 to Nov ‘05
Conducted an in-depth analysis of various transportation network & inventory problems and proposed process improvement solutions.
• Analyzed the causes of delays in a JIT transportation network on raw material inventory management. Proposed process improvements that reduced service delays by 50%.
• Managed 3 RFQ’s worth $65MM each to procure 3rd party common carrier freight on approximately 1500 lanes annually. Managed the carrier program in terms of holding carrier’s to their service agreements, tracking their performance, expense and also maintain a relationship with them.
• Developed and led the implementation of new Backhaul Information System. The project involved building an information system and process to pro-actively identify backhaul opportunities and provide weekly visibility into backhaul business.
• Minimized the impact of node reduction to the transportation network by efficiently repositioning the tractor and trailor assets.
• Modeled 24 different traffic center networks for various productivity initiatives totaling $6MM.
• Analysed the impact of US DoT’s Hours of Service regulation and proposed mitigation strategies to ensure service-to-sales level remains the same.
