Vaughn joined the company full time in 1988 but has worked with the company since its inception. He served in almost every role in ***** and worked throughout the US, helping to build ***** 's domestic infrastructure and to construct a global brand protection practice that has established the company as a world leader in this area.

Vaughn was elected to the Board of Directors of ***** in 1994, and became President of the company in 1996 until 2008. Under his stewardship, ***** has grown from a small, regional loss prevention consultancy to an international organization with offices on four continents. He currently serves as ***** 's chief strategy officer.

Vaughn's areas of expertise include intellectual property investigations and program management, global network and intelligence management, Internet fraud and security and undercover investigations. Vaughn has also developed and supervised the ***** International Network System (PINS), a gold standard for the development and management of an international investigation, loss prevention and security network.

He is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing. Following his graduation, he worked as an account executive at a Tampa-based advertising agency and as marketing director of ***** . He is a former Co-Chairman of the International Anticounterfeiting Coalition Investigators Committee and was an integral part of the conceptualization and development of the Eastern Anticounterfeiting Alliance enforcement program, a coalition of some 30 brandholders to fight product piracy.
