• Hands on experience in genomic/plasmid DNA preparation, analysis and cloning/expression in microbes using plasmid, phage and other vectors, site-directed mutagenesis and real-time PCR

• Deft in human and insect cell line culture, transfection and development for recombinant protein production

• Hands on experience in GC, HPLC, NMR, Agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, FACS, TEM

• Protein expression, purification, reconstitution, characterization and enzyme kinetics

• ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Western blot, RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis and microarray analysis

• Maintenance, breeding and genotyping of mice, drosophila and nasonia insects
