Airport Geofencing & Beacons
I have need of an expert for an involved project. I need greater precision concerning the present practice in certain progressive airports and elsewhere of; seamless, automatic switching from a fixed to a mobile apparatus involving geofencing / perimeter strategies / or beacons. I am especially interested in automatic switching from an over-the-air network to wifi. For instance, the miami airport now has beacon technology on each entrance and throughout the airport. With prior permission, an individual's cell phone, laptop or other wireless device, upon entering the miami airport, automatically switches from the individual's over-the-air network to the airport's wifi. Passengers love this feature. Free connectivity, fast speeds, huge capacity, etc. Airports love that passengers love it. Airports and airlines also use the system to relay information, special offers, etc. I was recently at copenhagen airport where the experience is similar. Airports across the country and the world are adopting this technology.
(see the article below for more information)

i own two (2) u.S. Patents that cover such operations. (seamless, automatic switching from an over-the-air network to wifi based on signal strength and a pre-established vicinity range....thus the interest in geofencing / perimeter systems / beacons). I wish to monetize these patents.
I need an expert(s) who can flesh-out the operations of these airport systems and other similar operations. I need to know exactly how the switch occurs when the individual enters the airport. I want to know the mechanisms involved and the suppliers of the hardware and software. I want to know who has set up the system (e.G. Boingo) and in collaboration with whom (apple...Google). I need information on potential targets for perhaps licensing, outright sale of my patents or if necessary patent infringement litigation.
Possible targets would include numerous smaller companies, but also the "big boys" such as google, apple and boingo.
There is ample opportunity for the right expert(s) to gain substantially.
My needs include but are not limited to: a wifi, geofencing, perimeter, beacon specialist, as well as marketing and legal expertise.
The specialist(s) may be involved from the start to the finish of this monetization with the potential of significant financial gain.
I hope this is sufficient to make preliminary inquiries for just the right person or persons.
