a leading global socks and underwear developer, producer and distributor, specialized in the technical fields, is searching for highly experienced sales representatives to assist in the development of its client base, especially in running, outdoor and skiing, and branded casual socks and underwear. Your duty will be to bring in new customers, such as retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. After a contract and order is confirmed, the company follows up directly with the customer. Payment tbd, but predominantly on a commission base.

The company that we act on behalf of is a globally renowned engineer and marketer of outdoor, skiing, and medical socks, and holder of a number of very well-known brand licenses.

Being a startup based in india with a regional office in china, we have established contacts with over 400 clothing suppliers in india and china. At the moment, our buyers are wholesalers and retailers in these two countries. with bootstrapped funds to operate our startup concern, we need to have a solid marketing strategy that would help us approach these retailers with ease. We are also open to work on a commission basis (or other mutually beneficial terms) with business partners having contacts with retailers.

I represent a sports apparel startup. Our usp is a new textile yarn (patented pending ) which performs wicking and moisture management *significantly* better than the sports apparel put out by nike, under armour, et.Al. Studies show it prolongs coolness (and therefore optimal performance) under hot and sweaty conditions, far better than presently available products. So on a pure performance level, it is absoutely clear that we can blast the "big boys" out of the water... Or license our technology to them. We just need to decide on a proper strategy to allow that to happen.
*we are therefore looking for a person with experience in the area of sports/athletic/fitness apparel marketing strategy to help define the best way to bring the products to market on a limited budget. What is needed to get into the sporting goods retail industry via specialty sport stores, big-format sporting goods retailers, and/or department stores? With whom could we best partner?
