I am a consultant who has just completed a large trunked land mobile system in michigan. We are experiencing interference from a fm broadcast station at particular site. I have determined a solution could be a low pass filter with 50-60 db loss at the fifth harmonic of the station frequency. I have found a complete lp filter with -40 db rejection at the frequency of interest but none higher. However i did find a lp filter with the characteristics (-60 db at 457 mhz and 2kw) as a kit (actually a board with components).
I am looking for a consultant interested in assembling the kit into a completed filter with an enclosure and 1 5/8” eia flange connects input and output. The builder of the filter refused and i am looking for an alternative. Or perhaps you have another solution. Thanks, jim sharp+7 Other Responses
What are the fcc regulations on beer & wine sampling live on-air radio. If is is a feature, or paid advertising, it is still educating the audience.+2 Other Responses
