Battery Failure Analysis

We have a battery pack that burned a hole through the case and i'€™m looking for a company that could do a failure analysis to find the root cause of the damage. The damage occurred during maintenance charging after the battery pack was taken from inventory. It should be noted that the pack was previously charged, tested, cycled through three charge discharge cycles and placed into inventory with no problems. Is this a failure analysis that you would be interested in doing? If so can you provide an idea of how long it would take, how much it would cost, and how we could transport the battery pack to your location. If this is not something that you can do, possibly you can recommend someone that does. Thank you, chuck ********

Bolted Joint Design Failure Analysis

Bolted joint design, failure analysis and training i represent man injured when the bolt fixing a rung lock to the siderail of an aluminum extension ladder broke. My metallurgist conducted destructive testing which showed the bolt suffered tensile deformation. My ladder expert theorizes that the nut was overtorsioned and eventually failed. He has suggested that i retain a bolted joint expert to analyze the case and opine on the mode of failure.
