I am searching for commercially available solvent dye(s) to be reactive (such as change color) if a solvent is exposed to extreme conditions, such as elevated temperature and/or presence of moisture/water vapor. Solvents are naphtha r66 and rot-sol.

Require an industry expert who could help us with the value-chain analysis on the following for food and non-food colorants. The geographic focus is global. The application area is food products, personal care and home care applications.
We are looking for experts having production process knowledge about the mentioned materials, regional cost differences, especially asia and europe and preferably from the cpg industry
we need inputs/insights on:
1. Detailed value-chain analysis – what is the manufacturing process of dyes and pigments for cosmetics and detergents (ci 61102, 74160 etc.)? How are the raw materials sourced for both food and non food colorants? What does the value chain look like and what % of the total colorant cost is dependent on the various raw materials / carriers etc.? (on a broad scale)
2. What are the major cost drivers for colorants and the best sourcing practices adopted by fmcg industry when buying multiple colorants (both food and non food colorants)? Raw materials in a lot of cases(specially natural colorants) are perishable commodities (e.G. Annatto), so how are they sourced from the suppliers and how are they stored?
3. Which are some of the most expensive colorants (raw material wise) and the cheapest preservatives present in the market? Can we obtain cost reductions by substituting one type of carriers / emulsifiers / preservatives with something else that will provide the same result? If yes then what are the criterion that we need to consider while thinking of these substitutions.
4. Please provide regional trends regarding colorants(food and non food) manufacturing/capabilities. Are there any recent innovations that can be leveraged to drive costs down? Can two colorants be mixed with each other? Are there any typical combinations that we need to keep in mind, for example only colorant a can be mixed with b colorant.
