Genome
I have some clients who are interested in having their whole genome sequenced and finding out their genetic risk for various common disorders. They have already done the 23andme and decodeme snp analysis, and are in the process of doing the illumina trusight individual genome sequencing (igs) test with the mygenome ipad app frontend. Looking for a consultant with very broad knowledge of genomic sequencing field, knows the key companies and players involved, knows the software products availabe to analyze genomes, and can help me get this project started. I am interested in someone who knows the field so i don't have to reinvent the wheel, so i can pick the low hanging genomic analysis products available off-the-shelf before doing any expensive custom analysis of whole genomes for my clients.

+22 Other ResponsesCrispr Best Practices And Materials Analysis
We would like to speak with crispr customers to learn about the current and future clinical/therapeutic (gmp) use of crispr (e.G. Best practices and the various materials involved).
We are aiming to learn how gene and cell therapy companies are approaching crispr — whether these therapies are administered in vivo or ex vivo, what they see as the pros and cons of using rnp complexes as opposed to mrna, and what their considerations are when they are sourcing those materials.
This is a 60 -min paid online video interview. If open to participating, please provide a brief answer to the screener below:
1. Please describe the institution where you work (only want biopharma, not academic/research)?
2. How familiar are you with the manufacturing process for crispr therapeutics?
3. How familiar are you with the gmp materials costs involved in crispr therapeutics manufacturing?
4. How involved are you in outsourcing crispr therapeutic manufacturing workflows (e.G. Rnp complexing) to 3rd parties such as a cdmo?
5. What are the key benefits and downsides of outsourcing parts of the manufacturing process (e.G. Rnp complexing)?
Please note: our client is only interested in your personal point of view and is not seeking confidential information.
For every successful referral (client interviews referral) on this project, a $200 bonus is paid to the referrer.

+2 Other ResponsesBioinformatics
Hi,
i need a help in bioinformatics (microarray),
from this article: http://genomebiology.Com/content/3/12/research0073
i want to understand the meaning of the following:
on average, each gene is represented by 40 probes: 20 'perfect match' probes , and 20 'mismatch' probes . We refer to the perfect match/mismatch pair as a 'probe pair'. Each gene is thus represented by 20 probe pairs.
My question how is the mismatch and perfect match probes appear or created in the same spot in the microarray?
Thanks
