I am feeding a mixer where the viscosity change within the mixer causes pressure swings and upsets he feedrates of the raw materials feeding the mixer. I currently use a mass flow meter to measure the flow and gear pumps with vfd to control the flow. I could go to a piston pump to deliver constant flow regardless of pressure (i think) but i am a little concerned about pulsating flow. Is this an area you have expertise?
