to give you an idea about our company we are providing some background information:
we are one of the leading tea producers in bangladesh. We are popularly known as finlay tea company among the consumers and general people. We produce 23% of 65 million kgs of national tea production and established ourselves as the largest and best quality tea producer of the country. We have experience in making black tea and green tea.
Our green tea is of global standard and we are exporting these high quality green teas to different countries.
We are in the retail market since 1993 and selling different skus of black tea and green tea. In the retail market, we are currently selling more than 3.5 million kgs of tea per year. Along with black and green tea we are also producing and marketing masala tea; which is a flavored tea and we blend natural masala with black tea to produce this masala tea. We are selling around 200 kgs of masala tea per month.
Our current intention is to increase our product line in the high end niche market. We are planning to produce and sell flavored tea for this niche segment. Market for these teas is too small and no other marketers produce these kind of teas locally. Only a very negligible quantity of flavored tea is available in some high end selective stores which are brought in the country from abroad by passengers in their baggage. Currently market size of these flavored tea is around 150 – 200 kgs per month and our initial target to produce same quantity of flavored tea.
We do not have any know how to produce flavored tea. As we have very strong brand image among the consumers as a top quality tea producer; we will be able to capitalize this image to market our flavored teas in the niche segment. This will give us first mover advantage and will help us to capture this emerging segment.
5) our initial plan to develop and market following flavored tea:
a. Jasmine tea
b. Lemon tea
c. Ginger tea and
d. Earl grey
if we are successful with these flavored teas, in future we will increase the product range in the flavored tea segment.
What we want from you:
in view of above our requirements from you are:
1) providing us with the knowhow of producing flavored tea.
2) supply of flavors to mix with the tea.
3) technical assistance to identify right equipments for flavored tea making.
We also want an expert for:
1) providing us with the knowhow of producing tea extract.
2) technical assistance to identify right equipment and technologies for tea extract.+3 Other Responses

Tissue Culture Lab
My name is joshua, i am the director of a start up company, based in durban, south africa. Our company aims to import stevia leaves from kenya, brazil, spain, egypt and bolivia. We'd like to produce stevia extract, stevia powder and stevia cubes from the leaves. We'd also like to set up our own tissue culture lab to sell plants to farmers and businesses across the world to promote good quality stevia plants. We would like to know whether your company can assist us with the development of a commercial stevia tissue culture lab at our site. The space allocated for stevia processing is about 4500 square meters. We'd also like to set up a commercial tissue culture lab for stevia (on site) and a small experimental growing area. We'd like your advise on this aspect as well.
Our plan is also to have a tissue culture lab for pomegranate, dragon fruit, orchids and banana. So the tissue culture lab will be used for commercial production of : stevia, pomegranate, dragon fruit ,orchid and banana. We'll grow these plants on site and supply to other industries and farms across the world.
Please feel free to contact us and ask further questions.Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

i would like to give you a brief of our operations in zambia,
we have dump waste material of approximately 30 million tons with copper content of 0.8 to 4 % which is in form of lumps 0 to 50 mm.
Currently, we are extracting in the method as we are doing heap leaching with sulphuric acid. The liquid that we collect from heap leaching then with iron we precipitate copper powder with quality upto 82 - 90%.
We are selling that copper powder to smelters locally.
The queries i had as per your expertise :
currently we only using sulphuric acid, but i would like to know if we add some % of nitric acid, will the recovery be better and is it cost efficient or viable cost wise?
If we do decide to use nitric acid with sulphuric acid, what should be the ratio?
In this dump material, there's very little precious metals does that also get leached while we are heap leaching for copper?
We are extracting copper powder through iron but there's a limitation for metal scrap, so are there any other better alternatives in which we can recover the copper in metal form.
There's other option that i'm aware of :
electro-winning but it's huge capital investment, high requirement of power and there's a lack of power in zambia. So currently this isn't the good option.
We even have option of converting liquid into copper sulphate.
I had a slight idea about the liquid solvent that we can use that can upgrade the content of copper per litre from the liquid.
I've already informed you the idea or method in which i only have general idea.
So as per the current situations mentioned above about zambia power and metal scrap availability.
Can you please give me a complete summary from your depth knowledge in this field that whats the best cost efficient way in which we can extract copper, precious metals and iron sulphate from the ones in which we already used in the past.
We have approx 30 million tons of dump material
it would be great if you have any suggestions or method or expertise that can help us grow this.
If you further need any information.
Please contact me.
