"recruitment gamification" is becoming a new trend in finding and assessing candidates. Bob cowherd, head of uber's hiring growth team, is always seeking innovative ways to recruit engineers. He worked with san francisco startup codefights, which crafts programming challenges for online competitions, to develop a timed, competitive coding game called uberbot to determine the optimal route for a car or the best match for passengers splitting a ride. Then uber used codefights as a recruitment tool. Google's code jam competition is another example of recruitment gamification.
What are your thoughts about the trend?

I am looking to connect with one or more gamification experts for development of gamification mechanisms for our online fashion community. We want to increase user engagement. We use jomsocial component and alpha user points which for now uses only basic functions ( get points for certain actions). There's also option to remove points for certain actions (e.G. Apply for reward game or coupon or raffle ). There are many other possibilities so we'd like to cooperate with someone how can help us develop whole mechanism. . .+8 Other Responses
