Need an expert that has been qualified to testify in court, preferably federal, regarding gps tracking devices and how they work (hardware) and the interface that a customer can log into to see where gps devices are, whether they are charged, whether they have been powered off, etc. (software). Need someone on the eastern side of the us.

We have developed our own gps vehicle tracking system. It is a small unit with built-in antenna and is designed to be installed under the dashboard. It also contains a gsm transmitter, accelerometer and a battery.
It is working, but we are dissatisfied with the accuracy of the gps. After comparisons with a similar competing device, we know that there is room for improvement in gps positioning accuracy. We unfortunately donât have access to gps experts with sufficient experience and expertise to help us analyse our gps hardware design and isolate the factors (if any) that are likely to cause a drop in gps accuracy and/or provide recommendations on design improvements that would likely lead to an improvement in the gps accuracy performance.
The scope of consulting services would include the following:⢠review our component layout and shielding/ground plane/etc. On the printed circuit boards and identify possible sources of rfi⢠suggest circuit design improvements to increase noise immunity⢠suggest changes in âancillaryâ component specifications that may be causing issues⢠review our gps antenna design and set-up and identify possible improvements⢠review our choice of gps receiver chipset, lna/saw filter/etc, and suggest a better alternative, if one exists.
