I am the sole owner of a small manufacturing business (machine shop) operating in spartanburg, sc. I saw a recent article explaining an increased need for specialized precision cnc parts in the hydro-fracking industry. I recently retired from the u.S. Air force after 25 years and my background is in hr. I am looking to connect with a hydro-fracking industry consultant who has expertise with the industry equipment so i can try to develop a niche strategy for some of their hydro-fracking industry parts.+3 Other Responses
We have a number of exclusive contracts with local franking sand deposits based in the usa, the location of these are secret due to our nda.
At the moment we are doing our research into the market, we are monitoring the price of oil and although we are not too worried about the price of oil, we know what impact that it could have on the potential price of the sand and its use in fracking.
Obviously we know the importance of the location of the sand and the importance of the transportation of the sand from mine, to processing , to the end user.
We are looking for information on the current market place. Who the big players are? How are they purchasing their sand? What quantities and prices they are looking for? Etc.
Potentially we are going to be a big seller of fracking sand, whether now or when the price of oil comes back and so we are not just not are looking for not an advisor but will require them to provide introductions to distributors and end clients.+10 Other Responses
