This is an invitation to my colleagues to access well funded buyers for mid market companies with trailing ebitdas of $2mm or greater. Fba maintains relationships with many well funded buyers and investors interested in acquisition of all or part of mid-market, us based companies with a trailing ebita of $2mm to $100mm+ . On an exception basis, fba has buyers who will consider distressed companies with no earnings but with substantial assets, revenues or a strong chance of future success, if funding can be obtained. Many buyers are seeking a controlling interest, but we do have investors who accept or prefer a minority interest, especially if management is strong and growth prospects are good.
Fba generally works on a non-exclusive, success fee only basis. In some cases fba's fee is paid by the investor, not the seller. Client companies can be presented on a highly confidential basis using a generic description to secure initial investor interest and then entering into confidentiality agreements with those investors selected for response. The value added provided by fba, is to apply extensive experience as a principal in m&a and corporate finance transactions to optimize results by initiating or participating in, the strategy, structure and process that will facilitate the best outcome for the client.
Fba's resources include private equity funds family offices, high net and strategic investors as well as sources of senior, mezzanine and specialty financing. Fba can structure private to public strategies. Funding also may be available for large distressed companies with valuable assets and business prospects.
