I am working with the ceo of an mvno (cell phone white label with at&t, sprint, verizon and t-mobile) who currently has his own mobile wallet and he wants a debit card to link it to. His company was a program manager and had their own debit card back in 2008 when we had the banking crunch here and many, if not most debit card programs were shut down as the larger banks bought up the smaller ones. The ceo has taken his company public in the last year or so and is expanding to other countries so he does not want to have to devote the time necessary to being his own project manager again and would like to find a very competent company to run that side of his business for him. He has already worked with two small companies that made promises that they could not keep and has become very frustrated with the process so far and that is why i reached out to find some consultants to help me find some capable companies so that those mistakes are not repeated.
This company currently has over 1.5 million subscribers through various marketing efforts and programs, so they are not all the same sort of customer. He needs a card that can be issued here in the usa and linked to his own mobile wallet and a few months ago he entered into an agreement with an eastern european country and a major bank there to offer telecom and money transfer services. He is currently negotiating with several other adjoining countries to offer the same sort of service. Ideally, a card could also be issued to those customers as well to facilitate money transfer through his mobile wallet and the cards that those customers have. For the right card he expects to issue over a million of them in the next two or three years. I am looking for three very competent companies that can deliver a solution for him. He wants to move on this quickly, as the project has been delayed by smaller companies who could not deliver on their promises. I am going to select the three or four companies that it looks like to me will fit the bill and then put them together with him to present their proposals for him to make his final decision. Please let me know if you are, or know of such a company.
