Nanotechnology

Are there rechargable nano battery's that can be charged 30mv? I know that there is a switch that needs a certain amount of voltage to charge up a rechargable battery.I found an electric source that gives off 30mv. I believe this source would be able to power nano electronic devices. A carbon nanotube would be just small enough to capture and conduct this electric charge. Graphene may possibly be used as a conductor as well. Also , is it possible to charge a rechargable battery and then once that is fully charged have it charge another rechargable battery that is slightly larger and so on? I asked that last question because i would like to know if i could use this electricity on a larger scale. I don't want to give away the electric source unless i'm sure it would be confidential. If you absolutely need the electric source to answer my questions i guess i could disclose that information if you ask me.

Nanochemistry

I am interested in the use of carbon nanotubes to enter the nucleus of a cell. I am curious to know if it is possible to alter dna using nanotubes - if they can be used to enter new dna. If this is possible then to what extent could an organism's dna be altered to? Would this be a similar concept to designer babies etc, or could it be used to treat illnesses? Also could a similar process be done using viruses? I understand that viruses inject their own dna into a cell's nucleus. Would it be possible for us, as humans, to replace a virus' dna with perhaps a cure for an illness, or a different dna code for another purpose?

Carbon Nanotubes

We have developed a unique process that catalyzes carbon in molten metals and metal alloys, creating nanocarbon structures - fullerenes (cnts, buckyballs, nanobuds), graphene nanoribbons, and amorphous nanocarbon - that are chemically bonded to the base metal or metal alloy. Covetics look and feel like the base metal, but the physical properties of the new materials are dominated by the carbon nanostructures. We seeking innovative, world-class, nanocarbon experts interested in collaborating in strategic research and commercialization of our new class of strategic materials.

Amorphous Carbon

I have a sample of what has been termed "amorphous carbon." this black powder is a byproduct of an industrial combustion process and our initial lab tests indicate a presence of graphene or graphene oxide (e.G. Raman spectra, xrd). I would like to better understand 1) how we can classify this product and 2) how we can use this product and possibly extract/purify graphene at a mass scale. This would start as a paid phone consult and could result in a longer project. Thank you! --p
