I am working on a new show for channel 4 that is called the acid test. This is a show hosted by richard bacon live in a studio with a co presenter called rachel riley and we aim to make it the most interactive show on uk tv. We are going to look at topical and cutting edge technologies from products that can help you in the home, engineering to ground breaking medical science, discuss them and trail them in innovative, informative and entertaining manner.
I am looking for an “expert” on wind power to join us on a boat around thanet wind farm on friday afternoon (15:00 – 17:00). What we hope to get out of the iv is a really good, strong and positive angle on wind power and why it holds the potential be to our main energy power of the future. Richard bacon will be putting the questions forward and he will do so fairly sternly. The expert will have been given a handful of negatives surrounding wind power and we hope that the expert will simply brush them away and convince him wind power is a completely positive step in the right direction.+5 Other Responses
Wind Farm Site Suitability
I have 182 acres of partly hilly undeveloped land here:
the area gets les suetes winds which can sometimes be very strong, up to 200 km an hour in gusts. Would an area like this be suitable for a wind farm?+9 Other Responses
