I want to understand where oled technology has reached and what i can do with it as a large computer display, rather than as a mere fixture for lighting purposes.
My client is a major subway system located in brazil.
My dream would be to hear from experts that the oled technology is at a point that all of the subway's backlit or frontlit poster frames (analog) including in-train pannels (curved surfaces) can be replaced by digital counterparts -- oled films -- that would turn that space into a sizzling streaming video showcase for advertising clients.
What would it take to do this?
Specifically, can oled panels be hardwired to a computer that in turn is connected via wi-fi or 3g mini-modem to our ad-serving network so we have realtime control of what is showing?
If i am dreaming too high application-wise, then what would be the next best alternative?
I look forward to hearing from you.+8 Other Responses
