We are a firm working in the field of organic fertilizers , at present we are working on city compost and phosphate rich organic manure . We want to make granules of the same so we are in the planning of setting up a granulation unit . The raw material used would be the following -
1. City compost ( compost derived from segregating city waste of plastic and glass and deriving organic material from the same ) , it is not fine powder and has twigs and occasionally fine pieces of plastic and glass . The raw material also has lumps of matter bound together as a result of moisture .
2. Prom (phosphorus rich organic manure )
derived by co composting fine graded rockphospate to city compost . The material thus formed has cohesiveness .
Our need -
we want to make granules of the size 2.5-4 mm. In size , the granules should be strong and should be able to sustain the seeder pressure .
We want to manufacture 2-3 mts per hour .
Kindly tell us what kind of plant would be the best for the same.

I own a 225 acre farm in salisbury md. 144 tillable and acres, half is irrigated. It was previously used for corn and soybeans. I have secured financing and i am in the early stages. It will be 100% organic started from seed to finished product. Some of our larger production items will be contracted out. All products produced and manufactured will be offered to our local community at our roadside store. Half of the tillable will be a long term lease to a local winery or group of wineries from the surrounding area. The main growing will be indoors hydroponically. For one of our main contracts we will be growing outdoor and indoor tomato's. Outdoor we will have figs, specialty teas, speciality grains, some fruit and nut trees.
Indoors will consist of specialty micro greens, specialty grains for granola, flowers and decorative ornamental plants, orchids, medicinal herbs and spices, edamame, seedling production and transplant marketing, bamboo shoots as well as bunch bamboo. Chi seeds and other specialty items.
We plan on composting everything that is possible.
Full scale solar farm with battery batter for the entire production.
As far as animals we will have chickens for eggs. Eventually starting a full scale farm animal rescue.
We will have a full scale honey bee farm, using some for retail food production.
For the rental side there will be a 400-500 grand barn style venue open year round. Built on a man made 2 acre lake that has been converted into a salt water pool, stocked with coy fish. A wooden boardwalk spans the entire pond with a performing arts stage at one end and the grand barn on the other end. Both connecting with bridges that meet in the middle where there is a grand gazebo. Those areas will be used for concerts, plays, weddings, parties, banquets, corporate retreats, just about any sort of meeting or group is welcome.
All trees taken down will be milled on site and reused. All supporting beams will be exposed and taken from specific hardwoods through out the property. All electricity will come from solar, when the panels are not producing electricity the power will come from tesla's power wall battery storage systems. All trash will be composted in a hotrot composting system pretty much eliminating the need for normal trash service.
Currently i am in need of core staff that has experience setting up a organic farm and assisting me with cost analysis, fixed expenses, product turn around, sales and overall what i can expect to gross off of a certain item. I have been in the restaurant and hotel industry my entire life. I have no problems doing p & l's, trailing 12's cash flow charts. But i cannot find a excell spread sheet where it breaks it out for the organic farming. Does anyone have or can tell me the current seed prices, ect, grow time, total expenses, gross profit and turn around another grow period.? thank you
