Through-the-wall Blow Molded Plastic Bottles
We are looking for a "through-the-wall" blow molded plastic bottles expert. This individual must have experience in the plastic bottle industry and have a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the business.
"through-the-wall" operations for blow molded plastic bottles are used for a variety of high volume consumer good products such as: cleaning products; liquor; dairy products and health & beauty products.
I am looking for an expert who understands the dynamics of this type of business where plastic container suppliers set up operations that are dedicated to a specific client either right in the customer's plant, next to the plant (on the other side of the wall) or very close to the plant. I am only interested in the united states market for "through-the- wall" blow molded plastic container operations at this time.
Plastic bottle companies that participate in this business in the u.S. That we are aware of are: alpla; amcor; consolidated container; graham packaging and plastipak.+5 Other Responses
Pp Plastic Bottles
Looking for an expert that understands throroughly about pp plastic bottles. Currently on trial phase with pp plastic bottles for pharmaceutical iv drips and still having some problems.
Problem 1: a lot of bottle tilt deformities after autoclave sterilization process, never perfect straight results. We have probes for measuring temperature and pressure outside the bottles, but no probes to measure pressure inside the bottle. Can we minimize tilting defects and fix the standard shape if we have the probes - aligning internal pressure and external pressure of the bottle? Is that the solution? Also does the position of the bottles affect shrinkage results during sterilization - eg tightly squeezed together to fit in a tray?
Problem 2: mid usage the bottle will twist and disrupt the drip flow of the fluids due to vacuum suction. Is it a problem with the bottle design? Current design is spherical shaped with no "ribs" to support bottle wall. Will adding this "ribs" suffice in preventing the twist or do i have to change the shape of the bottles to, let's say, oval shaped?+undefined Other Responses

I'm searching for a plastic bottle manufacturing expert who knows about the customs and practices in the industry and how plastic bottle manufacturers work with distributors and product manufacturers. Secondarily, i need someone who knows about when to use flame arrestors. If there isn't one person with expertise in all of that, i will consider a separate flame-arrestor expert.+7 Other Responses
Good afternoon. Our company (in canada) has a sustainability task force and we have a question on plastic bottle recycling. We have heard that you can cut the top off a plastic bottle and use it as a bag enclosure. We are wondering if the bottom of the plastic bottle can still be recycled or does cutting the bottle in half render it useless for recycling? Please let me know.+3 Other Responses
