Nginx Web Server
We have 2 servers that power our wordpress site, a separate web server and database server. Each server has 8 cores and 16gb of ram. We are running nginx w/ php5-fpm on our web server and mysql on our database server. With this setup we are not able to handle large amounts of traffic without a ton of zombie php processes being spawned and bogging down the server. I am looking urgently for somebody that can correctly configure our web server and database server for the best possible performance, leaving us able to handle large amounts of traffic and fast performing website. We believe the problems lies within our nginx and php-fpm configurations but understand that there may be additional ways to enhance the performance. We want somebody that can explain to us what changes are being made and provide a record of all changes including the current value and the new value to any configuration files. I am looking to hire this job out but will be working with you rather than handing over the keys and collecting them back when you are done. I want to fully understand what is being done so that we can understand the configuration options being changed, what they do, how they effect us, and then be able to roll out these performance enhancements to our other servers.
This is an urgent need and response time is very important. If you are located on the east cost of the us, that is a huge plus. Being in central pa is an even bigger plus.
