Securitization

I am looking for an individual who has been designated as a trial expert in "securitization" and residential mortgage backed securities. They need to be familiar with pooling and servicing agreements and the evidence needed to show timely securitization of a mortgage loan into the trust by the "closing date" i am also looking for an individual who has expert knowledge of "loan servicing" in the mortgage industry. Specifically, they should be able to know among other things, the effects on a loan when a debtors payment is placed in a "suspense account" in error for a two year period.

Islamic Mortgage Program

We have a waiting list of 2,800 people in canada who are seeking islamic mortgages. Many of these people/properties are in the toronto area, and most are residential refinances (clients wish to replace existing conventional mortgages with sharia mortgages). Certain regulatory decisions have made it virtually impossible for debt institutions here to fund these mortgages. However, we can qualify, without cost or delay, any individual or institution outside canada to invest in these mortgages. We will not be able to fund all these mortgages - the combined value is in excess of $600 million - but we would like to establish an islamic mortgage program here. Other islamic products - home insurance, life insurance, auto insurance, credit cards, etc. Can be piggybacked on a mortgage offering, if the lender/investor wishes to do so.

Mortgage Processing Services & Technology

Our us research firm is interested in a phone consultation with an expert in the area of mortgage processing services and technology for both residential and commercial mortgage lending in the united states. These would be the services that banks and other lenders* might procure for post-closing purposes. We are most interested in three service segments: mortgage recording, searches, and flood. * companies who procure these services may also include mortgage servicers, title companies, attorneys, and others. The ideal expert might be/have been in an operational role at an organization that procures these services such as a bank or other, or be involved in selling these services. We are working to better understand the post-closing business for both residential and commercial mortgages. Example questions might be: * who is involved in the process? * what documents are involved? What do they do? * step-by-step processes * how are commercial and residential different? * what are the challenges lenders and others have in managing mortgages? * what are the problems clients are trying to solve when they outsource to servicing companies? * who are some of the top service providers? * what are some of the trends in the industry, where is it headed in the future? Referrals are also welcome, thank you.

    Mortgage Banking

I am an attorney in bushnell, sumter county, florida. I am defending a foreclosure case in which it appears to me that the bank failed to comply with part 34 - real estate lending and appraisals, subpart d - lending standards, section 34.62 - real estate lending standards, appendix a to subpart d - interagency guidelines for real estate lending as set out in title 12 of the code federal regulations. Specifically, i am interested in the supervisor loan-to-value limits. The bank, which is a national bank, claims that it is not required to comply with the ltv limits set out in the regulations. In essence, the bank loaned my clients 85% of the appraised value of the property. The purchase price of the land was $400,000, the loan was for 280,000, and the appraisal was $330,000. My clients did not know of the appraised value until more than a year after the loan closed. The loan officer told my clients they were getting a 70% ltv loan. The property was unimproved raw land that was owned by the bank. The bank had purchased the property for $325,000 3 months before they entered into a contract to sell it to my clients. The bank had intended to use the property for a branch location but found a better site. If the bank was required to follow the regulations in making the loan, then i would like to retain your services as an expert witness.
