Sovereign Wealth Funds
I am writing on behalf of a consulting firm that conducts expert interviews in support of industry-wide studies for many of the world's fortune 1000 companies. We help businesses answer questions by engaging with the world’s most relevant experts. So far we have delivered over 750 studies with input from over 15,000 individuals. We are an authorized zintro partner.
For an ongoing project, we are seeking to speak with senior-level executives from companies with over $100m revenue from various industries in japan who can share their personal "perception" about sovereign wealth funds (swfs).
We are interested in gathering opinions even if your exposure to swfs is limited, as long as your current experience is gained at a japanese company covering the above criteria.
Please note that we are only interested in your personal point of view and expert insight and are not seeking any confidential information.
We are scheduling 30-minute discussions with experts this week and are happy to offer a negotiable compensation for each interview. Please note that we are handling the standard zintro fee separately.
If you are interested, i could provide more specifics on the study. I am also happy to receive any referrals.
+5 Other ResponsesMarketing People In Buy-side
We are a prominent global (u.S.-based) research firm interested in surveying marketing people in buy side firms. We are targeting tier 2 asset managers as defined by our client as having assets $250b-$1t. We need to speak to both system users as well as decision makers. Ideally we’d like to speak with cmos or marketing vps. It would be great to know who in the marketing department you have in your network. Please note we would want to speak with current employees, as our questions are pertinent to current processes.
Do you fit that description or can you refer us to someone who does?
Thanks!

norway has vaulted to the top ranks of foreign u.S. Commercial real estate buyers as its $870 billion sovereign-wealth fund, the world’s largest, acquires buildings from new york to san francisco. The country has spent more than $3.2 billion on u.S. Real estate this year, including the assumption of debt, according to research firm real capital analytics inc. And statements from the wealth fund. That makes it the biggest international buyer after canada. The total is more than double the amount spent in all of 2013, when norway ranked no. 6 for property purchases.
Norway, which has a smaller population than new york city, is spending billions of dollars on properties globally as its wealth fund seeks to meet a target to invest as much as 5 percent of its assets in real estate. In the u.S., prices for top-quality buildings in major markets are being driven up by foreign funds that often are willing to accept lower yields than domestic buyers in return for a safe place to put their money, according to research firm green street advisors inc.
