Charter / Twc - Regulatory Review
We are a prominent nyc-based expert network and an authorized zintro partner. Our client has an immediate need to conduct phone consults with multiple experts knowledgeable about the proposed charter / twc merger. Our client would like to discuss relevant fcc and white house policies, and how these policies might affect the merger.

Electronic Visual Aid
My name is andrea and i'm from monterrey, mexico. I'm contacting you because my start up has developed a medical device in the form of a wristband designed to know the proximity of objects using ultrasound. The nominal operational frequency is 40 khz at 0.33 watts. We want to know what are the fcc compliance requirements in order to commercialize this device in the u.S. Is it a fcc requirement to test for emc in this case?

Electronic Access Systems
i currently have a need to investigate some areas around electronic access systems. many of us interact with these systems on a daily basis as we “badge in” to our offices or apartment buildings. we are looking for information about 125khz (old technology) and 13.56mhz (new technology) type proximity electronic access control systems (eacs), specifically those used as door lock and key systems for office buildings, apartment buildings, some hotels, and parking lots. based on the definition of eacs above, below are some specific questions the my team has around this technology. questions:
what is the total number of end users of eacs worldwide, by country? specifically, how many people have and use proximity cardkeys or fobs.
how many eacs installations are in use (number of buildings) worldwide, by country?
what proportion of eacs are installed in office buildings? apartments/condos? parking lots? service retail (like gym) worldwide, by country?
what proportion of current eacs use 125khz type readers? 13.56mhz type readers? combination 125khz/13.56mhz readers, worldwide, by country?
what proportion of current 125khz eacs use hidprox (fsk modulation)? indala (psk modulation)? em4100 (ask modulation), worldwide, by country?
what is anticipated in the future with respect to these technologies? are they expected to grow, be replaced? what trends are happening that could impact electronic access (e.G., with the increasing popularity of smartwatches, how would this impact this category, for instance?)?
I am looking to receiving some inputs in the next day or two, so timing is a key element here as well.
