Medical Supply Chain
At medical materials, inc. We seek to help hospital supply chains reduce losses from expiring inventory. We do this by accepting unneeded, new sterile device and supplies to our warehouse, then sell items to hospital clients at a price determined by remaining time until expiration. Since our prices are typically 50% lower than msrp pricing, can supply chain experts comment on issues that may keep a facility from purchasing new, sterile, unaltered devices from us rather than a gpo. We do not want to become a primary supplier for facilities, we provide opportunities to buy selective items at greatly reduced prices. It seems we have many hospitals willing to send us unneeded supplies to sell, but few that take advantage of purchasing opportunities. Insights from supply chain experts on any steps we could clarify or take to induce more supply chains to look at our company for purchases would be helpful.+12 Other Responses
