Medical Billing

I have a case that i am prosecuting against a general surgeon for delay in diagnosis of breast cancer. The surgeon performed what he described in a note as a core needle biopsy. I have reviewed his charges for the core needle biopsy and i have questions about his charges. I would like to retain an expert to review the charges and to comment on whether the billing was appropriate. I am happy to pay the reasonable and customary hourly rate for work done on this matter. There is some possibility that the expert i retain would have to testify at deposition and later at trial.
