Book On Climate Change

Call for authors- book on climate change (land-uses and forestry) we very happy to announce a new book project venture, an initiative with ***** science publishers inc. (ny) and the editing team including peers from brazil, spain, and australia. The new book is entitled land use, land-use change and forestry (lulucf), in reference to the unfccc framework (which is a starting point). This book is a compilation of 10-13 independent scientific articles, where each article is one chapter. Contributing authors must submit abstracts by august 15 (2013), and the full article by january 15 (2014). The contributions are in the format of scientific articles, but nevertheless there is flexibility for contributions (e.G., thesis, research, project, reviews, compilations, policy, discussions, etc). The abstract submission is about a 1 page long description of the proposed article and must include- title, names of authors, email contact information, affiliation, and draft abstract text (100-400 words) indicating the proposed idea for the article. The article will have a maximum of 10 pages and further guidance on formatting will be provided. Every and each abstract is very important to us, as non-selected abstracts are used to provide ideas to new books and all are invited again to take part in the coming books. There are no costs or revenues associated with being a contributing author. Contact me for further information. Thank you! silvia

Land-use Change And Forestry

Invitation to authors -- this is a book project in conjunction with nova. The new book is entitled land use, land-use change and forestry (lulucf), in reference to the unfccc framework. After the abstracts deadline, we will respond to authors, and selected abstracts will move forward in the process. Non-selected abstracts are also very important to us, as they may present new ideas for a subsequent book. Therefore, we will try our very best to include all authors, and we encourage related submissions regardless of how your work may or may not strictly fit within the conventional scope of the lulucf framework. What we are looking for are initiatives/projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions (co2, noxs, ch4, etc). The work can include particular land uses (greenhouse gas reduction from technology and or methods, etc.) and/or from land-use changes promoting reductions in greenhouse gas emissions (e.G., carbon sequestration). Consider reductions in greenhouse gases in work undertaken in forest land, cropland, grassland, wetland, settlement, and other land uses. We look forward to have you and your research team on board with us in this new challenge. Please to forward any questions that may arise to our editing team members and nova. And please do send me any email containing the abstract submission. At any time, let me know if you need help or have any further questions! please extend this invitation (and feel free to forward this email) to your networks/peers who you think may be interested in taking part in this book. Have a nice day and great week!

Here is a sample: http://blog.Zintro.Com/2012/01/16/keystone-xl-pipeline-pros-and-cons/ here's the topic on which we'd love your thoughts: climate change some researchers are claiming that environmental factors such as discharge of sewage and plastics, overfishing, and climate change are creating conditions for jellyfish to proliferate. These experts have the controversial opinion that jellyfish, which have been on earth for over a half-billion years, have developed the tools to handle harsh environments due to our own mismanagement and pollution. They argue that more research funding and education is needed to study the issue further. Has the jellyfish population gotten out of control, and do the sea creatures pose a hazard to people who enter the ocean? Is more funding an important issue in terms of climate change? Getting your name and expert opinion published on our blog is a great marketing opportunity. If interested, please send us your response via znotes within a couple of days.
