      My lease is coming due in 8 months, for the nature of the business(retail) we need to know for sure whats coming. We'd asked for a rent reduce about 2 years ago, when we did that they took out our renewal options(without us knowing) now they re trying to considerable raise our rent and also saying that they have our competitors looking to rent the place for much more money than what we pay. On top of that, the building is divided in 3(we have 1/3) and the other 2/3 is on a month-month basis and for rent for the last 1 1/2 years with no much luck. The landlord also told me "if you find something and want to go i'll rip your contract" please, i need help with this, dont want to move but cannot paid what he will ask for, and ovbyously he is trying to create desperation on my side. At the end of the meeting he said "dont panic!" of course i told him im not.
