Waste Water Treatment
Our client, representing the plaintiff, is looking for an expert on non-clog submersible lift pumps, such as those used in wastewater treatment plants.
The subject treatment plant uses 6 pumps in rotation. Five out of the 6 pumps are required for the peak flows but the station typically operates on one pump. More than one of the pumps have experienced primary seal failures. In addition, without a catastrophic failure, the pumps have also experienced contamination of the glycol from the wastewater. The pumps have also exhibited the leaking of fluid through the secondary seal.
The expert will opine on the causes of the pump failures, and determine if there are any design defects in the pumps. Previous testifying experience is preferred, but not required.
Geography: in us, ideally northeast.+5 Other Responses
