I am a procurement consultant working for a company based in india. We work with many global companies to assist them service their procurement needs. Description of the type of tool is provided below: the tool should be a brand/market/agency agnostic tool (media tools) that can be used to make media plan flowcharting, approval and reporting. The intent of this tool is to attain efficient visibility into the client’s global media data (e.G. How much is being spend in each market? What % in digital? What is the current brand media plan reach? Etc.), while ensuring a strong system of record for stewardship compliant, simple operations. Major interested of having this tool is to enable a global client to have a centralized solution. Suppliers of the tool should be able to provide and optimize the following: 1) media plan flowcharting work of agencies (creation of a media plan & scenarios, edits& updates to the plans) 2) brand review & approval of media plans (to maintain a system of record, to stand as the final brief to buyers to execute) 3) media data connections between the client and agencies operational, reporting and analysis systems & tools. Project objective: i) find a tool that would make it: 1. Easier, more accurate and consistent capture of all media data (content, performance and spending for planned and actuals) with flexibility to support new data types on a going basis 2. Eliminate duplication of work for the agency personnel, who use media tools (as the system of record and approval) and offline excel formats in parallel (to work faster for scenarios & edits, to provide customized plan views to brands) on a day to day basis. 3. Deliver reduction off the existing solution & services cost (comprised of license fees, internal & external management and technical support teams) 4. Efficient, accurate, fast data linkages to internal and agency reporting and analysis systems & tools (e.G. Performance delivery, buying platforms etc.) 5. Simpler process for the process for the client by making it: 5a. Easy to comprehend what is being planned, approved, actualized on a media plan instantaneously (both for spending and performance metrics) 5b. User friendly and easy to view, approve media plans and pull reports out of the system 5c.
