We are building 10 one acre greenhouses to the south of deming, nm. To produce organic vegetables. We would like to consider windmills to address the pump/fan loads and possibly the heating of the greenhouse. Our current annual electric cost per house is about $23,000 and propane is about $65,000/year. We have 160 acres on which 15 will be occupied by the greenhouses. Is it feasible/economical to consider windmills for the electric and/or the heating?+5 Other Responses

I am looking for an “expert” on wind power to join us on a boat around thanet wind farm on friday afternoon (15:00 – 17:00). What we hope to get out of the iv is a really good, strong and positive angle on wind power and why it holds the potential be to our main energy power of the future. Richard bacon will be putting the questions forward and he will do so fairly sternly. The expert will have been given a handful of negatives surrounding wind power and we hope that the expert will simply brush them away and convince him wind power is a completely positive step in the right direction.+5 Other Responses
