3d Printing For Wind Turbines
We are looking to see the feasibility of manufacturing our finished goods completely with a 3d printing process. I am running an alternative energy company with my business partner and we are looking to produce our wind turbines using 3d printing technology. The windmill will have 3, 4 foot blades connected to 2 support beams. This is what we will need to print. We have the .Obj files and can transfer them to .Stl when necessary.+7 Other Responses
Wind turbine manufacturing and wind farm construction
we are an egyptian green energy a newly established company our project is going through 2 stages
the first stage will be manufacturing the wind turbine
second stage is to install the wind turbine into a wind farm.
Wind technology, the production line, the management will be through a union of american and french companies
our factory will be mobile, fully automated, can produce onshore, and offshore wind turbine, also can produce either small or huge wind turbines.
Our target is to produce 2000 turbines of the 10mw/ h during one year.
It is a huge project as we believe
we will depend on100% leasing module in financing the project.
Now we are forming our board experts members, and the supporting consultant teams. We had an agreement with some famous and with good reputation experts in more than one specialty. Negotiations are still running with others. Also we hope if we can join foreigner experts in different aspects that may benefit the project such as experts in different wind energy aspects, financing solution, legal aspects, marketing, management, and planning.
Our experts will be paid through a percentage of the net profit
our project value evaluation may be as much as 4-5 billion dollars.
What we need from our experts?
1- we need to assess the best sites to start our wind farm either onshore or offshore.
2-doing the complete feasibility study of the whole project.
3-choosing the best wind turbine or turbines that should be produced in our factory?
4- marketing research
5- financial solutions
if you feel it is a challenging project and suits you please contact us.

Wind Turbine Drivetrain
For a wind turbine drive train expert - why aren't the generator and other electrical components mounted at the base of the turbine for easier installation and maintenance? This would also reduce tower top weight. A right angle drive at the top driving a vertical drive shaft would work. This arrangement would be especially effective for offshore wind turbines.+1 Other Responses
