Looking for a little help to run wireshark in monitor mode (either on xp, win7, win8 or ubuntu).
i have a few supported wireless adapters (tp link tl-wn722n, netgear a6200) but can't get it to capture the (uncrypted) tcp traffic from my other computer on the network. (it only shows mdns traffic)
i can follow directions well, but haven't found any single reference that walks thru the procedure of how to do it. +2 Other Responses

I am planning to set up a wireless isp business using wifi network system.
My target area is 500 square meter . (70 feet high from ground)

Average browsing speed : 512kbps (max. 2mbps) per user.
Now my budget is $2500 for hardware's. I will like to use 1 or 2 strong long distance wifi router. Not too many cheap repeaters.
So , can you recommend any strong devices for wifi hotspot? Or any guide line to set my business?
What kind of devices i will need to set my total business?
