• Boutique commercial real estate development and asset management company.

STERLING CENTRECORP, INC. – West Palm Beach, Florida
Vice President, Chief Investment Officer (2000 – 2002)
• Investment Committee member for public Canadian real estate and merchant banking company with 20 million sf of retail, 2,000 acres of land and 35 hotel properties owned and/or managed.
• Established investment policy and process, selected, negotiated and closed property and corporate acquisitions, sold nine properties and managed multiple development projects.
• Remediated distressed commercial and residential assets and generated $16 million in cash.
• Sourced, structured, and simultaneously managed construction draws, investor relations, permanent debt, equity, and mezzanine capital for new developments and investments.
• Conducted due diligence and closed management company acquisition resulting in addition of more than 20 million square feet of retail property in 267 properties under management.
• Performed due diligence financial analysis for acquisition of a $270 million private REIT.
• Managed all lender and special servicer interaction relating to properties with distressed CMBS and other loans, managed property remediation efforts.

Director – CMBS Production (1997 – 2000)
• Managed Morgan Stanley correspondent mortgage banking relationship for CMBS loan origination and servicing. Interviewed and recommended law firms for lender.
• Formulated production tracking system, underwrote, documented, and closed 28 loans generating more than $1 million in fees during 1998.
• Supported Morgan Stanley auditors and rating agencies in pre-securitization portfolio reviews, managed production staff, managed interface with investment banking firms.
• Created detailed financial analysis models and solicited new equity, mezzanine, and debt investments as exclusive correspondent for eleven institutional investors.

Regional Director - CMBS (1997 – Office Closure)
Opened regional office and established statewide CMBS origination network, sourced and underwrote 135 transaction quotes totaling over $940 million. Engineered and modeled mezzanine and structured finance transactions.

Vice President (1996)
Interfaced with pension fund advisors and other institutional investors regarding financing and asset disposition-strategies for mega-deals and placed structured debt and equity offerings with institutional and CMBS investors. Managed staff in production of investment offering memoranda, created detailed feasibility models for prospective institutional and private investors.

Project Leader (1994 - 1996)
Analyzed real estate structured finance investments. Assisted national portfolio teams in underwriting, valuation and acquisition of more than $1 billion in new assets. Co-authored, presented and received GECC board approval for GE’s timeshare financing business plan.

WACHOVIA BANK – Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Vice President (1992 – 1994 Re-Engineering)
Originated new loans and managed portfolio of more than $400 million. Chaired committee for re-engineering the loan underwriting system and credit approval process for the region. Formulated and implemented reorganization plan for loan administration personnel resulting in increased productivity of servicers and lenders, received award for "Top Performer".
