I have had an extensive career helping companies reach their full potential. My skill in business management, combined with my passion for sales and marketing has helped start up ventures achieve national status. Whether it be a company that I had owned or worked for my entrepreneurial style and “make it happen” attitude have built a strong foundation to ensure lasting success. I have managed a national network of both company employed and independent reps firms, totaling as many as 60 people

My many years of selling more than $ 1 billion dollars of various products to national retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, K-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, BJs Sears, Fred Meyers, Shopko, Frys,Walgreen's, CVS, AAFES, Miejers, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Mills Fleet and Farm, Kroger, Safeway, Ralph's, Albertson's, Radio Shack, Toys R Us Sephora, Macys, Ulta, and Nordstrom gives me a special understanding of the wholesale-retail-consumer experience.

In creating Goldsmith & Myers Retail Marketing, I have taken the next step to help companies that have viable products, but lack the expertise in the retail marketplace. My goal is to help lead companies through the process of developing the product line, create pricing and marketing programs and finally get the appointment with buyers and senior management and get them to say, YES! As anyone who has done business with retailers knows, that when the fun starts. The next steps are, vendor and product set-up paperwork, insurance requirements, shipping, routing guides and EDI order processing. Once that is done, we move on to product selection, margins, plan-o-grams and co-op advertising. In the case of certain product categories you have the added responsibility of training and point of purchase displays. Yes, it is a lot of work upfront, but watching the business grow and succeed feels terrific. The best feeling in the world is visiting your product at a store and seeing someone pick it up and take it to the register.

At Goldsmith & Myers we specialize in all form for retail distribution whether it is Mass Merchants, Big Box Superstores, Warehouse Clubs, Drug Chains, Home Improvement Chains, Home Shopping Channels, Department Stores, Internet Retailers, Catalogs or Specialty Retailers.

For instance, one of our clients has a line of skincare products that was only sold trough Direct Response Advertising. I am pleased to say that the product line launched at the largest nationwide “Beauty” chain in the USA and several other retailers. We estimate first year sales of $10,000,000. Another one our clients created a totally new product category and needed to not only introduce the product, but help educate consumers. For them, we took a much different approach. We targeted QVC, high-end catalogues, and Internet Retailers to not only sell the product, but to build the foundation to widen distribution to Brick & Mortar retailers.
