2005 to 2008

Managed all aspects of the marketing, product design and development, domestic and overseas sourcing, private label manufacturing, supplier negotiations and quality control areas. Extensive travel to Europe, working with key product designers and factories.

2000 to 2005

Involved in launching this company from ground zero. In fourth full year, shipped $16.5 Million. Traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe to search for innovative new furniture designs. Worked with interior designers and independent sales reps to generate project opportunities and close sales.

1988 to 2000

Managed and involved in all aspects of the company and contract furniture industry. Worked closely with domestic and European product designers. During last 12 months helping run the organization, posted a 44% gross margin and 19% net income. Coordinated aggressive litigation defense strategies with outside insurers and attorneys, acting as "in-house expert". Initiated large volume private label manufacturing program, supporting some of the industry's most prominent branded furniture manufacturers.
