Terry Wakefield is President and Chief Executive Officer at The Wakefield Company (TWC) and has 42 years of experience in the US residential mortgage industry. He has held C-level positions at several mortgage-related concerns. In 1981, Mr. Wakefield's firm was retained by Fannie Mae to assist with the design and launch its mortgage-backed securities (MBS) program and negotiated transactions desk. Due to the successful launch of the MBS program, he joined Salomon Brothers where he co-founded Prudential Home Mortgage Company, and its parent, Residential Services Corporation of America. Mr. Wakefield has designed and implemented loan production infrastructures that have produced over $3 trillion of mortgage loans. In 2003, he launched today's version of TWC. Clients of TWC have included Black Night, H&R Block, Citadel Investment Group, Fiserv, ISGN, EverBank, LenderLive Network, Texas Capital Bank and ValuAmerica.

• Led The Wakefield Company to partner with EMC to market Loan Builder®.

• Developed Internet platform, increasing customer retention from 9% to over 65% for GMAC.

• Key player in building the first toll-free, nationwide, centralized loan production facility in the US.

• Reduced costs to 50% lower than industry averages, with twice the transaction velocity as competitors.

• Instrumental in creating Prudential Home Mortgage Company, which subsequently sold for $1.4B.

• Launched Mortgage-Backed Securities Program and Negotiated Transactions Desk for Fannie Mae.

• Managed the issuance of one of the first mortgage-backed bonds in history.
